Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Partners with Africa Plus Limited to Develop Student Hostel

The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi (FPTB) has signed a landmark agreement with Africa Plus Partners Limited Lagos (APPL) for the construction of a student hostel within the institution.

The project, valued at One Billion Naira, is a Private Partnership on Build, Operate and Transfer under the TETFund Special Intervention in Students' Hostel accommodation.

The agreement was signed by the Rector, Alh. Sani Usman, and the Acting Registrar, Alh. Abdullahi Garba, on behalf of the polytechnic, while Mr. Dipo Lawore and Ms. Tulowamimi Omotayo represented Africa Plus Partners.

The Chairman, Governing Council, Surv. Mohammed Nadu Yahaya, presided over the ceremony, which was also attended by a member of the Council, Hon. Abiodun Mafe, and other officials from the polytechnic and Africa Plus Partners.

 

The partnership is expected to provide a significant boost to the institution's infrastructure and enhance the overall learning experience for students. The project's actualization was facilitated by a two-day meeting between the polytechnic's representatives and Africa Plus Partners in Lagos.
