Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Inaugurates New SERVICOM Officers

The Federal Polytechnic Damaturu has inaugurated new officers of its SERVICOM Unit, tasking them to "step on their toes" to bring about positive change in the institution.

 

The Rector, Dr. Ibrahim Bello Bashir, represented by the Director of Affiliation, Collaboration, and External Linkages, Dr. Reuben Omotayo Akinsola, emphasized the importance of carrying the vision of SERVICOM to members of staff and ensuring effective service delivery.

Dr. Bashir expressed his readiness to support SERVICOM, a national agency that covers every public service, and expects the new officers to deliver results and justify the confidence reposed in them.

The inauguration ceremony included a handing-over ceremony between the outgoing NODAL Officer, Ibrahim Mohammed, and the incoming NODAL Officer, Haruna Abdullahi. Ibrahim urged the new officers to build on the achievements of their predecessors and serve the polytechnic community, including staff, students, and visitors.

 

Haruna Abdullahi, the new NODAL Officer, assured that his team would follow the vision of SERVICOM and ensure collaboration and open communication with stakeholders, including parents of students, for effective delivery of services.
