Federal Polytechnic Nekede has declared lecture-free days for its students from Tuesday, August 20, to Friday, August 30, 2024, in alignment with the approved Academic Calendar for the 2023/2024 session.
This period marks the Students' Union Week, which will include the Students' Union Government elections.
Students are encouraged to engage in the electoral process with decorum and respect, and candidates are advised to approach the election in a peaceful manner. The break from lectures aims to facilitate active participation in the elections and other student activities.
Deans, Directors, and Heads of Departments are instructed to enforce this directive to ensure students can fully exercise their civic responsibilities during this period.
