The Abeokuta Study Centre has organized a general training session aimed at improving work relations among its staff. The event, themed "Effective Human Relations for Administrative Efficiency in ODL Institutions," focused on the importance of fostering positive relationships to ensure smooth operations in the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) environment.
This marks the second training series at the centre, with 27 staff members in attendance. The session was facilitated by Mr. Adefemi Oyedipe, who virtually delivered a presentation on the University Flexible Structure. He emphasized the value of teamwork, mutual respect, and strong relationships within the workplace, highlighting vertical and horizontal relationships between management and employees, staff and students, as well as colleagues.
Oyedipe stressed that nurturing strong relationships boosts productivity, collaboration, and motivation among staff, ultimately contributing to the achievement of institutional goals. The training featured an interactive session, allowing staff to share their experiences and discuss solutions to common workplace challenges.
