Federal University Gashua Announces Immediate Closure Amid Campus Unrest

In response to escalating unrest on campus, the Federal University Gashua (FUGA) has taken decisive action to ensure the safety and well-being of its community members

The Vice-Chancellor and Chairman of Senate have issued a directive for the immediate closure of the University, effective March 23, 2024.

In a communication from the Office of the Registrar, Dr. Abubakar, all staff and students have been informed of the urgent need to vacate the campus premises without delay. Students are advised to return to their homes or seek refuge in a safe location until further notice.
