The Federal University of Agriculture Mubi (FUAM) is set to make significant strides toward its full academic commencement, thanks to generous donations from philanthropists committed to educational development and youth empowerment. Alhaji Hamisu Idiris Medugu, a renowned politician and community leader, has donated five laptops and four desktop computers to the institution. Known for his unwavering commitment to the development of his community, Alhaji Medugu has consistently supported educational initiatives, including his pivotal role in the establishment of the Federal Medical Center Mubi (FMC). His donation to FUAM is aimed at enhancing the university's technological resources as it prepares for its academic takeoff.

In addition to this, the university received another vital contribution in the form of textbooks. Professor Paul Amaza, an esteemed scholar in Agricultural Economics, donated ten copies of his book Fundamentals of Agricultural Economics. This gesture is intended to aid the university’s academic endeavors as it gears up for full academic activities. The donation was formally received on October 30, 2024, by the University’s pioneer Vice Chancellor, Professor Bitrus Dawi Tarfa, and the Registrar, Hajjia Fatima Bashir.

Professor Tarfa, expressing gratitude on behalf of the university management, commended the donors for their selfless contributions to the university’s development. He assured that the donated laptops, desktop computers, and textbooks would be used to further the university’s academic goals and assist in its smooth takeoff.
