Federal University of Lafia Mandates Biometric Data Capture for Carry-Over Students

The Federal University of Lafia has announced a compulsory biometric data capture for all carry-over students of GST and ESP courses. This directive applies to students in their 300L, 400L, and other levels who have not yet completed the biometric registration for their carry-over courses.

In an internal memo dated 2nd September 2024, Sabuwa AB Ibrahim, Acting Head of the BCS Unit, informed students that the data capture is essential for participation in the upcoming Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations. The biometric capture will be conducted at the ICT complex, Faculty of Computing, room F03, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, starting from Monday, 2nd September to Friday, 6th September 2024.

Students are required to bring their ID cards and proof of payment for E-Learning charges. The university emphasized that participation in this exercise is mandatory, and students who fail to comply will not be permitted to access the examination hall.
