Federal University of Technology, Minna Releases 2024/2025 Academic Calendar

The Federal University of Technology, Minna, has officially announced its academic calendar for the 2024/2025 session, outlining key dates and activities for students.

The first semester is scheduled to run from Monday, November 18, 2024, to Saturday, March 29, 2025, spanning a total of 16 weeks. During this period, the payment of school fees for new students will take place from October 28 to November 17, 2024, followed by online registration for both new and returning students from October 28 to November 17, 2024.

Lectures for students in 100L to 500L will commence on November 18, 2024, and continue until January 25, 2025. New student orientation will occur from December 19 to December 20, 2024, while an annual recess is scheduled from December 21, 2024, to January 4, 2025.

In January 2025, an e-test for 100 Level and large classes will take place from January 27 to February 15, followed by the continuation of lectures until March 1. Examinations for 100 Level and large classes are slated for March 3 to March 22, and for 200L to 500L from March 10 to March 22. The first semester break will run from March 24 to April 5.

For the second semester, classes will commence on April 7, 2025, and end on July 26, 2025, with various assessments and breaks scheduled throughout the term. Notably, matriculation for new students is planned for May 5, 2025, coinciding with Founders Day celebrations.
