The Tinubu Student Square, located at the 3-in-1 Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Education, features a stunning water fountain and other aesthetic elements designed to enhance the university's environment. Olamilekan, who spearheaded the project, explained that it symbolizes President Tinubu's impactful educational policies.
Olamilekan highlighted two major educational programs initiated by Tinubu's administration that have had lasting benefits:
-
Free Payment of WASSCE Fees: Tinubu introduced the policy of free payment for the West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) for all SS3 students in state-owned schools. This initiative has significantly alleviated financial burdens on students and their families, ensuring broader access to secondary education.
-
One-Day Governor Program: This innovative program allows secondary school students to experience governance firsthand, fostering leadership skills and civic engagement among young learners.

The water fountain at the Tinubu Student Square is rich in symbolism. According to Olamilekan:
- Four Lions: Represent Tinubu's courageous efforts to unify Nigeria's diverse regions.
- Two Eagles: Symbolize his strength and ability to tackle challenges.
- Bust with Hand Pointed to Head: Reflects Tinubu's visionary thinking and strategic mindset.
