Fpno Disclaimer on False Employment Scheme

The management of the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede Owerri, Imo state has issued a disclaimer on the activities of some impersonators operating a false employment scheme into the institution.

Myschoolnews reports the institution revealed this in a recent press release.

It says "it has observed with dismay and utmost concern the persistent activities of some unscrupulous person(s) still masquerading as agents of officials of the Institution with the ulterior motive to swindle unsuspecting members of the public of their money.

"It has further been observed that these yet to be identified person(s) are collecting various sums of money from unsuspecting members of the public with the firm promise to facilitate their employment in the Institution.

"Consequently, the Management wishes to reiterate that the Institution is not CARRYING OUT any Recruitment/Employment Exercise in any guise. Furthermore, employment in the Institution is NOT FOR SALE but based on merit after due processes had been observed.

"The Public and Polytechnic Community are further warned to be very careful of these fraudsters and their nefarious activities and should hold themselves responsible if they fall victim to their antics dubious and unpatriotic actions.
