From 6 Carryovers in 100L to First Class: Sadiq Sheshi’s Bold Claim Shakes Up Twitter
According to the post, he claimed to have had six carryovers in his first semester as a 100-level student but resolved to graduate with a first-class degree regardless.
A recent tweet by Sadiq Sheshi (@CaptSheshi) has gone viral, capturing the attention of social media users across Nigeria. In his tweet, Sheshi shared an inspiring yet fictional story of how he overcame academic challenges to graduate with top honors.
According to the post, he claimed to have had six carryovers in his first semester as a 100-level student but resolved to graduate with a first-class degree regardless.
He further stated that by his final year, he graduated with a CGPA of 4.94, becoming the Overall Best Graduating Student of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria in 2019. He also mentioned being the Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Agriculture and a recipient of the prestigious President Trump Merit Scholarship in the same year.
However, Sheshi later admitted that none of the aforementioned achievements were true, humorously advising his followers that "if you desire to aspire, you can retire to Maguire," a play on motivational clichés.
