FUGUS Parents Protest in Zamfara Demanding Swift Action Three Months After Abduction

Parents of the abducted students from the Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) in Zamfara took to the streets in a peaceful protest, expressing frustration over the government's failure to rescue their children from bandits, three months after the abduction.
Hajiya Hajara Zakari, a parent from Niger state, conveyed the concerns of the parents during a press briefing in Gusau, the state capital. She emphasized the lack of positive responses from both the government and university authorities despite meetings and appeals. One grieving mother, Hajiya, shared her anguish, revealing that her daughter was in her 300-level studying Biology Education before the abduction.
