FUGUS Students Invited to Participate in National Campus Debate Initiative

The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) has been invited by the National Orientation Agency (NOA) to participate in the National Campus Debate Initiative, a flagship youth civic engagement program.

The initiative aims to foster national integration, promote critical thinking, and amplify youth voices in public discourse.

The theme for the state-level debate is "Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship," and students are encouraged to explore how innovation can drive economic growth. Participants can submit individual or team video presentations (up to three members) lasting 1-5 minutes. The deadline for submission is June 30, 2025.

The top entries from each state will advance to the state, zonal, and national levels, with recognition and awards awaiting winners at every stage, including a national grand finale in Abuja. This initiative provides FUGUS students with a great opportunity to showcase their talents and represent their university at the national level.
