FUL Signs Collaborative Agreement with REA on World Bank/AfDB-Assisted Energizing Education Programme

The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, has signed a collaborative agreement with the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) for the Energizing Education Programme (EEP). The signing took place during an ongoing stakeholders' engagement forum in Abuja, attended by EEP beneficiary institutions.
The EEP, part of the Nigeria Electrification Project (NEP), aims to provide reliable power supply, street lighting, and upgrade distribution networks at selected tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
It is implemented by the REA in collaboration with the World Bank and the African Development Bank.Further details will be announced soon.
