FULafia Graduates Over 6,000 Students,50 First Class Inclusive On Saturday

The Federal University,Lafia,Nasarawa state,north central Nigeria has concluded arrangement to graduate 6,499 students, including 50 that made first class.


The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Shehu Abdulraman, disclosed this in Lafia on Wednesday at a Pre- Convocation Media briefing.

Professor Abdulrahman further stated that the institution had recorded achievements within the period he took over the mantle of leadership about three years now, especially the setting up high Academic standard.

He further explained that the management of the University would, under no circumstances, compromise Academic excellence.

According to the Vice Chancellor, the University leadership does not only train the Students to acquire Certificates but also prepare them to have both Certificate and the technical-know- how.


The VC said that the University management is doing all within its reach to partner with critical stakeholders to tackle insecurity within the university community, adding that it places high premium on the security and welfare of the Staff and students.


He said different avenues had been created by the University to improve on its Internally Generated Revenue to further develop the 13-year- old institution.
