FULafia Issues Disclaimer on Sale of Postgraduate Application Forms
The University clarified that the School of Postgraduate Studies has not commenced the sale of application forms for any of its programmes and has not authorized any individual, company, or group to collect money on its behalf.
The Management of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has issued a strong warning to the public regarding fraudulent activities related to the sale of Postgraduate application forms.
Scammers have been operating fake Facebook and bank accounts to deceive unsuspecting individuals. They are using the following bank details:
- Account Name:Bursary Administrative Accounts
- Account Number: 4513529294
- Bank Name: Kayi Micro Finance Bank
The University clarified that the School of Postgraduate Studies has not commenced the sale of application forms for any of its programmes and has not authorized any individual, company, or group to collect money on its behalf.
FULafia emphasized that all official announcements regarding the sale of application forms, admissions, fee payments, and other activities will be communicated through the University's established channels.
The University urges the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the appropriate security agencies. FULafia is working closely with these agencies to identify and apprehend those involved in the fraudulent activities.
