The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) is set to host its 40th Inaugural Lecture on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

The lecture will be delivered by Professor Charity Justin Takyun, a distinguished scholar of medical and health psychology and the Director of the University’s Career Services Centre.

Professor Takyun will present a lecture titled: “Navigating Life Challenges: Understanding and Addressing Mental Illness,” focusing on contemporary issues surrounding mental health and psychological wellbeing.

The event is scheduled to commence at 2:00 p.m. at the MIS Multi-Purpose Hall, Permanent Site Campus, Lafia.

Members of the university community and the general public are invited to attend the intellectually enriching academic exercise. For those unable to attend in person, the lecture will be live-streamed via Google Meet and on the university’s official FULafia Facebook page.
