FULOKOJA Receives Donation of Medical Equipment for Nursing Programme

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, received some medical equipment donated by Mr. Umar Tenimu Muhammed to the Department of Nursing Science, Federal University Lokoja.

The items, which included Mr jones Manike, Mrs Jones Manike, Mama NATALI (4), Spinal Anesthesia Stimulators (2), were handed over to the Vice-Chancellor by Professor Abubakar Mohammed, Director, Global Institute for Infectious Disease Control (GIIDC), on behalf of the donor.

While thanking the donor for the kind gesture, the Vice-Chancellor urged the Department to take possession of the equipment and ensure that they were kept safely and put to good use for the benefit of the students and the fledgling Department.

Similarly, the acting Head of the Department of Nursing, Dr Mohammed Danjuma Ismaila, who was present during the handover and also gave the descriptions and uses of each of the items, expressed his excitement as well as profound appreciation to the donor, adding that the donation had saved the University millions of Naira.
