Mr. Adeayo Adewumi, a 2018 First-Class graduate of Agricultural & Bio-Resources Engineering from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), is revolutionizing modern agriculture through his work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI), edge computing, and farming technologies.

Working with Purdue Research Services in the United States, Adewumi develops affordable, scalable technologies that operate even in remote areas with limited internet access. His AI-powered edge-computing devices analyze soil health, predict pest outbreaks, and provide precise irrigation recommendations, enabling farmers to replace guesswork with science-driven practices.
