FUNAAB Appoints Sotiloye as Publications Committee Chair

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Babatunde Kehinde, has approved the appointment of Bosede Sotiloye as Chairperson of the institution’s Publications Committee.

Sotiloye, a specialist in Teaching English as a Second Language from the Institute of Communication and General Studies, will serve a two-year term from March 26, 2026, to March 25, 2028.

The appointment reflects the university’s confidence in her leadership capacity and academic track record, with expectations that she will strengthen scholarly publishing standards and contribute to institutional growth.

She formally assumed office following a handover from the immediate past Chairperson, Helen Bodunde.

Sotiloye, who also holds the distinction of being the university’s 104th inaugural lecturer, is expected to leverage her academic and administrative experience to improve publication processes and enhance the institution’s global academic visibility.
