FUNAAB VC Leads Campaign Against Examination Malpractices

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, has reiterated the university's zero-tolerance policy on examination malpractices.

This commitment to academic integrity was reinforced during the unveiling of an anti-examination malpractice billboard by the FUNAAB Students' Union (FUNAABSU) Judicial Council on June 4, 2025.

Prof. Kehinde emphasized that any form of academic dishonesty is unacceptable and urged students to uphold the core values of integrity, hard work, and discipline. He highlighted the university's proud tradition of academic integrity, which contributes to the global recognition of FUNAAB graduates for their competence and high employability rating.

The Vice-Chancellor commended the Judicial Council for initiating the campaign and contributing to the promotion of ethical conduct on campus. The Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Festus Adeosun, appreciated the VC's unwavering support for student-led initiatives that promote excellence.

The Chief Judge of the FUNAABSU Judicial Council, Hon. Justice Moses Owolabi, called on all students to take ownership of the campaign and support efforts to curb examination malpractice across the campus. The event marked a significant step in promoting academic integrity and upholding the university's values.
