The Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO) has issued an urgent advisory to the public, prospective students, parents, and all stakeholders regarding the spread of false information about admissions and student resumption.

The University cautions against relying on unverified reports, social media posts, or rumors from unofficial sources. FUNATO emphasizes that only information published on its official website, www.funato.edu.ng, is valid and authoritative. Any other source should be regarded as misleading and fraudulent.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. O. J. Babayemi, clarified that FUNATO has not yet opened its admission portal and no JAMB-related admission processes have commenced. No individual or group has been authorized to issue admission-related communications outside official University channels.

Management, in collaboration with the Federal Government and relevant stakeholders, is actively working to complete all necessary processes to enable the start of admissions. Efforts are ongoing to achieve key milestones before the end of the year.
