FUOTUOKE Supplementary Admission Requirements for Post-Graduate Programmes for 2022/2023 Session

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
(a) PGD Programmes:
An applicant for admission to a PGD Programme shall be a graduate of the Federal University Otuoke or any other approved University with at least a Second-Class Honours Degree or Third Class Degree in a related discipline. For HND holders a minimum of Upper Credit is accepted in the relevant department.
(b) Master’s Degree Programmes: (Academic and Professional -MISS, MEEE and MILR)
An applicant for admission to a Master’s Degree Programme shall be a graduate of the Federal University Otuoke or any other approved University with not less than Second Class (Lower Division) Graduates of the PGD programme with a minimum of 3.00 are eligible to apply.
(c) MPhil. /Ph.D. Programme:
An applicant for admission to a MPhil. /Ph.D Programmes shall be
a graduate of the Federal University Otuoke or any other approved University who possesses a Master’s Degree. This is remedial for the PhD. Programme.
(d) Doctor of Philosophy Degree Programme:
An applicant for admission to the Ph.D. Degree Programmes shall be
a graduate of the Federal University Otuoke or any other approved University who possesses a Master’s Degree with research Thesis and a weighted coursework average which shall not be less than CGPA of 3. 5.

(e) VERY IMPORTANCE NOTICE
All Candidates should kindly note that in accordance with the University regulations, they must satisfy the O’Level requirements for matriculation into First Degree Programmes of Federal University Otuoke, i.e. Five Credit Passes in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics (where required).
