FUPRE Issues Notice on Matriculation Ceremony for 2023/2024 Session

This is to inform all fresh students that the 2023/2024 Academic SessionMatriculation ceremony has been scheduled for Wednesday, 31st January, 2024 in the University Main Auditorium by 10.00 a.m.

To this end, all fresh students are requested to collect academic outfits from their Colleges with effect from Wednesday, 24th January, 2024 between 10.00am and 3.00p.m daily on payment of the sum of Five Thousand Naira only (N5, 000.00) to the University Account via www.remita.net, then click on “hire of matriculation gown” and thereafter, present an evidence of payment to the issuing officer.

All academic outfits should be returned to the venue of collection immediately after the Matriculation Ceremony and not later than Wednesday 7th February, 2024.  Thereafter, late return of academic outfits will attract a penalty fee of One Thousand Naira (N1,000.00) per day.

The sum of Thirty Thousand (30,000) Naira will be charged for the replacementof lost/damaged Academic outfit and Five Thousand Naira (N5,000) for the cap. The Matriculation Ceremony is compulsory for all duly registered fresh students of the University (i.e. in the Colleges, University Library and the Health Centre).
