FUTA Alumna Christiana Oyinloye Earns Master’s Degree in Mining Engineering from Finnish University

Christiana Ewamide Oyinloye, an alumna of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has achieved an academic milestone by obtaining a master’s degree in mining engineering from the prestigious University of Oulu, Finland.

Christiana Ewamide Oyinloye, an alumna of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has achieved an academic milestone by obtaining a Master’s Degree in Mining Engineering from the prestigious University of Oulu, Finland.

Christiana, who graduated from FUTA with a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mining Engineering in 2018, was actively involved in student leadership during her time at the university. She served as the Vice President of the Nigerian Universities Engineering Students Association (NUESA) for the 2016/2017 session and was the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Society of Mining Engineering Students (NISOMES) in the 2014/2015 session.

Her graduation ceremony in Finland was attended by Dr. Yemi Aladejare, a former lecturer from FUTA’s Department of Mining Engineering and currently a docent at the University of Oulu, who supported and celebrated her achievement.

This accomplishment highlights the growing global footprint of FUTA alumni and their contributions to advanced fields of engineering.
