FUTMINNA Bursar Mrs. Hadiza Goje Receives Eminent Personality Award from PROWAN
Mrs. Hadiza Goje, Bursar of Federal University of Technology, Minna, was honored with the Eminent Personality Award by PROWAN for her significant contributions to the accountancy profession.
Mrs. Hadiza Goje, the Bursar of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) and Chairperson of the Association of Bursars of Nigerian Universities, has been recognized for her exceptional contributions to the accountancy profession in Nigeria. The Professional Women Accountants in Nigeria (PROWAN) presented her with the prestigious Eminent Personality Award during a special ceremony held on Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Cyprian Ekwensi Center for Art and Culture, Abuja.
Mrs. Goje, who holds several high-level qualifications including FCNA, FCTI, FCCFI, and FCCSA (USA), was celebrated for her unwavering support and leadership in the advancement of the accountancy field in Nigeria. The award presentation coincided with the Maiden Edition of the Eminent Personality Lecture, where Mrs. Goje delivered an insightful talk titled, "Emerging Technologies and the Future of the Accountancy Profession."
In her lecture, Mrs. Goje discussed the transformative power of technology in the accountancy sector, emphasizing how it enhances productivity by improving decision-making, automating tasks, increasing accuracy, and reducing costs.
