Gombe State Government Hands Over School Facility to GSU for Faculty of Agriculture

The Gombe State Government has handed over the premises of Government Senior Secondary School, Malam Sidi, to Gombe State University (GSU) for the establishment of a proposed Faculty of Agriculture.

The handover ceremony was attended by key officials, including the Commissioner for Education, Dr. Aishatu Umar Maigari, and the Commissioner for Higher Education, Alhaji Mohammed Shetima Gadam.

The development is part of the state government's efforts to boost agricultural education and expand the university's infrastructure. The Acting Vice-Chancellor of GSU, Professor Sani Ahmed Yauta, expressed gratitude to the Governor and the state government for the landmark contribution, which will enable the university to build a Faculty of Agriculture that will contribute to national agricultural development.
