Gombe State University Begins Online Registration for Post-UTME Screening

Gombe State University has announced the start of online registration for its Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session. Registration will open on November 4, 2024, for candidates who selected the university as their first choice on the JAMB portal and meet the required UTME scores.

Candidates must have a minimum score of 150 points for degree programs in Sciences, Education, and Arts and Social Sciences. Those applying for Nursing Science need at least 180 points, while a minimum of 170 points is required for Computer Science. Applicants for Medicine, Pharmacy, and Law programs must score at least 200 points. Candidates with scores below 200 for Medicine and Pharmacy are advised to consider alternative programs, including B.Sc. Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or Nursing.

Direct entry candidates with an NCE, JMB, Advanced Level GCE, or Diploma in the relevant course are also eligible to apply. A non-refundable screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) is required, payable through the university's online portal.

Candidates can register by visiting [Gombe State University's admission portal](http://dhrd-gsu-edu.com/admission) and following these steps:

1. Enter JAMB Registration Number and click 'Get Details'.

2. Pay the screening fee online via ATM/Debit/Credit Card, Bank Transfer, USSD, or Visa.

3. Fill out the form to create a UTME/DE screening account.

4. Click 'Generate Data Form' to view candidate details.

5. A PDF file will be generated containing registration details and the Post-UTME Test (CBT) exams card.

Candidates must print the generated PDF, attach photocopies of all credentials to the first page, and bring the originals on the day of physical screening. Specific screening dates will be provided on the portal during registration.
