Gombe State University Inaugurates Committee for Regreening and Re-Beautification

Gombe State University (GSU) has taken a significant step towards enhancing its environmental sustainability and campus aesthetics by inaugurating a Task Force Committee on regreening and re-beautification.

The committee, chaired by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor Danladi Mohammed Umar, comprises 22 members, including student leaders and representatives from various units.

The Ag Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sani Ahmed Yauta, emphasized the importance of the university's environment and landscape in maintaining its global reputation. The initiative aims to preserve and revitalize the university's beautiful surroundings, which are a source of pride for Gombe State and Nigeria.
