Gov AbdulRazaq Commissions Kwara State Polytechnic Advanced Diagnostic Centre
Governor AbdulRazaq inaugurates a state-of-the-art Diagnostic Centre at Kwara State Polytechnic, enhancing healthcare services with modern equipment and solar power.
The Kwara State Polytechnic has officially commissioned its new Diagnostic Centre, a project spearheaded by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. This facility represents a significant advancement in the institution's healthcare capabilities and reflects the Governor’s commitment to legacy projects that benefit the community.
The Diagnostic Centre, inaugurated by Governor AbdulRazaq, is a modern facility designed to serve the health needs of the institution's staff, students, and residents of Kwara State. It is equipped with cutting-edge medical technology, including digital Ultrasound and ECG machines.
Dr. Mrs. Rukoyat Ayo Uthman, the Coordinator of the Diagnostic Centre, highlighted the advanced features of the facility, including a comprehensive CCTV system that allows for effective monitoring of staff-patient interactions and the security of medical equipment. The Centre’s solar-powered setup ensures sustainability and uninterrupted service.
The Diagnostic Centre includes specialized rooms such as the Hematology department, where scientific analysis of blood and blood-producing organs is conducted. This addition to the Polytechnic's infrastructure underscores its commitment to providing top-notch healthcare services.
In her remarks, Dr. Mrs. Uthman expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRazaq for creating an enabling environment for the Polytechnic's advancement. She also praised Dr. Abdul Jimoh Mohammed, the Rector, for his visionary leadership which has positioned Kwara State Polytechnic as a leader in educational and infrastructural development.
