Speaking at the closing ceremony of the AA Sule Ideation Camp 33 which took place at the CSS Farms located at Gora, Keffi-Abuja Highway on Friday 20th October 2023, Gov Sule said the University's foresight in organizing the camp was in line with his administration's vision of encouraging entrepreneurship and self-reliance, noting that blue-collar jobs were no longer available hence the need for University graduates to embrace more reliable means of employment and also become employers of labour.

Gov. Sule recalled that after the pronouncement of the largesse to the 33-first class graduates, there were calls in some quarters of the society to the effect that it was just a political donation that would not stand, adding that owing to pressure at a point he almost disbursed the money to the Vice-Chancellor for onward transmission to the beneficiaries, but the VC advised him to hold on as they are in talks with viable organizations to train the 33 students so that they can make the best out of the cash donation.

The Visitor thanked the University management under the able leadership of Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed and his management team for birthing such a brilliant idea. He also thanked Professor John Kennedy Opara and other partners who ensured the success of the program.

In his remark, the Founder/Chief Executive Officer of CSS Group of Companies, Professor John Kennedy Opara congratulated Governor Sule for being the first Governor to institute such an honour on its First Class graduates and NSUK for being the first University in Nigeria to have such an honour, stressing that the Governor's penchant for human capital development is unprecedented, affirming that the relationship between Nasarawa State Government, NSUK, and CSS Farms will grow in leaps and bounds.

Earlier in his welcome address, Vice-Chancellor Professor Suleiman Bala said that the concept of ideation was to get the best brains, camp them in a conducive environment and allow them to generate ideas that will add value to mankind. He appreciated the support of friends of the program, especially the Executive Governor of Cross Rivers State and the Polish Ambassador to Nigeria for their endorsement and support, stressing that the University intends to institutionalize the program by making it an annual event because of the belief that the exploration and nurturing of the talents of Nigeria's young individuals are crucial for our nation's progress.
