Oluwatobi Somorin, a graduate of Greensprings School, has been recognized as the top performer across eight subjects in the 2023 International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations in Nigeria.

Oluwatobi Somorin, a graduate of Greensprings School, has been recognized as the top performer across eight subjects in the 2023 International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations in Nigeria.

Additionally, David Ekenta-Ifeanyi, another student from Greensprings School, achieved the highest score in Nigeria for Physical Education in the same examination.

The Cambridge IGCSE is a prestigious international exam typically taken by students aged 14 to 16 years. Administered by the British Council and Cambridge Assessment International Education, the exam marks the conclusion of secondary education in many international schools across Nigeria.

In recognition of these exceptional achievements, Greensprings School, Lekki Campus, Lagos—an official partner of the British Council—was also celebrated for its significant contributions to best practices in equality, diversity, inclusion, child protection, and its commitment to advancing employee growth.

A statement from the school highlighted, "This accomplishment marks the seventh year in a row that Greensprings students have been honored with top awards in various subjects, including Mathematics, English, Physics, Biology, Global Perspectives, Literature, French, and Drama."

The school also noted a significant milestone from 2016, when Honour Olatunji, another Greensprings student, was awarded the title of "Top in the World" in Mathematics by the British Council’s Cambridge Learner Awards.

Commenting on the recent successes, Greensprings School’s Deputy Director of Education, Mrs. Feyisara Ojugo, expressed her pride in the students' achievements.
