The Vice-Chancellor of Hillside University of Science and Technology, Okemesi, Ekiti State, Prof. Iheanyichukwu Okoro, has commended the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for its effective strategies in curbing admission racketeering across Nigerian tertiary institutions.

Speaking at the university's inaugural matriculation ceremony, where 25 students were officially admitted into various programs, Prof. Okoro highlighted the pivotal role played by JAMB under the leadership of Prof. Is-haq Oloyede.
He credited JAMB's repositioning efforts, particularly through the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), for ensuring that admissions adhere strictly to established guidelines.
"Our admissions were done in accordance with laid-down guidelines as contained in the Board's Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS)," Prof. Okoro stated during his address to faculty, students, and guests at the ceremony.
