Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Everette Taylor assumed the role of CEO at Kickstarter in 2022, becoming the first Black CEO to lead the company after the departure of the previous CEO, Aziz Hasan. Kickstarter is known for supporting creative ventures in music, art, movies, and more.
