IBBU and Federal Polytechnic Bida Strengthen Partnership

Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai, has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening its partnership with the Federal Polytechnic, Bida.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Hadi Sulaiman, welcomed a delegation from the Polytechnic, led by the Director of Affiliation Programmes and Linkages, Alhaji Haruna Jibril.

The partnership, established in 2020, has enabled the two institutions to collaborate on academic programs. Four degree programs are currently being run under the affiliation, and the University has recorded significant success.

The Vice Chancellor expressed IBBU's commitment to sustaining and expanding the partnership. He also assured the delegation that their request for additional degree programs in Computer Science, Microbiology, and Biochemistry would be carefully considered.

The University is open to exploring flexible measures to accommodate qualified Higher National Diploma (HND) holders, while adhering to regulatory guidelines. The Vice Chancellor encouraged the Polytechnic to view current challenges as opportunities for growth.

The partnership between IBBU and Federal Polytechnic Bida is a testament to the value of collaboration in enhancing academic excellence and promoting institutional growth.
