IBBU VC Appreciates Condolence Visit from Paiko District Head and Family of Late Student

The Vice Chancellor of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBU), Professor Mohammed Hadi Sulaiman, has expressed deep appreciation to the District Head of Paiko, Alhaji Mohammed Mansur Mustapha, the family of the late student, and other traditional leaders for their condolence visit to the University Management.

The visit was in response to the tragic death of a student who was killed by suspected phone snatchers a day after resuming for the second semester. Professor Sulaiman assured the family that the Management has taken proactive measures to strengthen campus and off-campus security in collaboration with relevant security agencies.

The Registrar and Secretary to the University Council, Alhaji Idris Saleh Kusherki, appreciated the District Heads, the bereaved family, and other members of the delegation for their thoughtfulness in paying the condolence visit.

The University Management reiterated its commitment to supporting the family in prayers and solidarity during this trying period. The condolence visit and special prayer session demonstrate the University's commitment to the welfare and safety of its students and staff.
