IBBUL Management Condoles General A.A Abdussalami Over Sister's Death

The Management of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai has sent its condolence message to the Institution's Chairman, Endowment Fund Board of Trustees, General Abdulsalami Alhaji Abubakar over the death of his younger sister, Hajiya Salamatu Abubakar.

The message from the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abu Kasim Adamu on behalf of the University Management staff and students prayed Allah to give the entire family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

"The death of Hajiya Salamatu was received with grief by the entire IBB University, Lapai community considering her positive contributions on the lives of many," the statement read in parts.

The Vice Chancellor also added that, "the contributions of the deceased to the development of Niger State and Minna metropolis in particular cannot be over emphasized".

Hajiya Salamatu who died in Abuja after a protracted illness has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
