JAMB has collaborated with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) to ensure that affected candidates can sit both the UTME and the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) without missing either.

The JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, has accepted full responsibility for the error and apologized unreservedly. The board has launched a review of the system to prevent similar issues in the future.
