UNIABUJA Postgraduate Students Host Public Lecture, Honour Acting Vice-Chancellor
The Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) recently organized a public lecture in honour of the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patricia Manko Lar.
The lecture, themed "Managing Insecurity for Development in a Multi-Ethnic Society," brought together participants from various security agencies and distinguished guests.
During the event, Professor Lar was presented with an "Award of Excellence" in recognition of her leadership at the university over the past three months. The lecture provided a platform for discussions on managing insecurity and promoting development in a multi-ethnic society.
The event was attended by representatives from security agencies, including the Army, Police, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, as well as traditional leaders and other dignitaries. The occasion highlighted the university's commitment to engaging with critical issues affecting society and promoting academic excellence.
