JUPEB External Assessment Team Commends UNIZIK for Excellence in Program Management
The JUPEB assessment team, led by Prof. Veronica Bakare from UNILAG, recently praised Nnamdi Azikiwe University for its outstanding management of the JUPEB program. The team, which also included Dr. Onyeka Abugu and Mr. Abimbola Abubakar, commended the university's high standards.

The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) assessment team, led by Prof. Veronica Bakare from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), recently visited Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) in Awka to evaluate its JUPEB program.
The team expressed high satisfaction with the program's execution and praised UNIZIK for being one of the top institutions in the country for managing the JUPEB initiative. Prof. Bakare and her colleagues, including Dr. Onyeka Abugu and Mr. Abimbola Abubakar, recognized the university’s commitment to maintaining high standards.
Dr. Chinyelu Egwuatu, Deputy Director of the JUPEB Unit at UNIZIK, extended his gratitude to the visiting team and highlighted the hard work and dedication of the program's lecturers.
Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Carol Arinze-Umobi responded to the commendations by thanking the team for their thorough evaluation. She assured them that UNIZIK remains committed to excellence across all its academic programs.
Other participants in the assessment included Dr. Diemiruaye Jeroh and Dr. Christian Ezeigwe from UNIZIK.
