Kaduna State Government Clears $247,000 in Outstanding Foreign Tuition Fees for Students

The Kaduna State Government, under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani, has settled outstanding foreign tuition fees totaling $247,235.84 (approximately N407,937,750) for state-sponsored students studying abroad.

The payment covers tuition fees owed to various universities in countries including the UK, Hungary, Dubai, and Uganda. Many of the beneficiaries were students of Medicine and Nursing who had been stranded abroad due to non-payment of fees by the previous administration.

Governor Sani has directed the Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board to verify the status of tuition fee payments for all state-sponsored students studying abroad and settle any outstanding balances.
