Kaduna State University Holds 2023/2024 Matriculation Ceremony

Kaduna State University (KASU) celebrated its 2023/2024 undergraduate and postgraduate Matriculation ceremony on Friday, April 19, 2024, at the main campus, and on Monday, April 22, 2024, at the Kafanchan campus.

*Vice-Chancellor's Address*

In his opening address, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa, welcomed the newly admitted students, emphasizing that they were selected based on merit. He highlighted the university's technological advancements, including the introduction of e-learning, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and cyber security programs, demonstrating KASU's commitment to modernity and connectivity. Prof. Musa assured the students of the quality of education they would receive from skilled lecturers and encouraged them to engage in academic discussions to enrich their learning experience.

*Oath-Taking and Matriculation*

The ceremony featured an oath-taking conducted by the university's Registrar, Barr. Samira Balarabe, followed by the presentation of students by the Provosts of colleges and Deans of faculties to the Vice-Chancellor, who officially matriculated them. This was witnessed by parents, guardians, and well-wishers amidst cheers.

The Matriculation ceremony at the Kafanchan campus was led by Prof. Bashir Muhammad Ali, DVC Administration, representing the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa. The oath-taking for the newly admitted students was also conducted by the university registrar, Barr. Samira Balarabe. The atmosphere was filled with cheer and excitement from students, parents, and guardians.
