Kaduna State University Hosts Honorable Minister of State for Youth Development

 Kaduna State University (KASU) recently welcomed Mr. Ayodele Olawande, the Honorable Minister of State for Youth Development, for an engaging session with university students.

The event, held on Tuesday, 30th April 2024, at the 500-seater Auditorium, was facilitated by Hajiya Amina Sani Bello, the SSA to the Governor of Kaduna State on Student Matters.

During his address, the Minister praised the students for their dedication and announced positive news about a recent bill signed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, aimed at providing financial assistance to students in need. He encouraged students to acquire practical skills alongside their academic pursuits and stressed the importance of a well-rounded education.

Prof. Muhammad Bashir Ali, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, commended President Tinubu for his commitment to education and applauded the inclusion of youthful perspectives in governance, such as the visiting minister.

The Minister assured students of increased youth participation in government, promising that the youth would have tangible experiences with governance in the near future. The interactive session garnered applause from all attendees, marking it as a successful and insightful event for all present.

The event was attended by various university officials, including the Dean Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Prof. Ayodele B. Joseph, and the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Adamu Nuhu Bargo, among others.
