Kaduna State University Launches Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Kaduna State University (KASU) has officially launched its new Bachelor’s degree program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The program was commissioned during an orientation ceremony held on 5th November 2024 at the university’s 1000-seater Auditorium.

The event, attended by students, educators, and a representative from the National Universities Commission (NUC), featured speeches from Dr. Nurudeen U. Miko, Prof. Helen Afang Andow, and Dr. Esther Mmeka. They praised the program’s potential to position KASU as a leader in logistics education in West Africa.

Industry experts, including Mr. Stephen Akut, also highlighted the relevance of the program to global logistics challenges. Following the ceremony, students participated in a two-day industry visit to companies like Kaduna Electric, Sunseed Company, and Sahad Store to gain practical experience in supply chain operations.
