A delegation from Kano State Polytechnic, led by Malam Abubakar Tijjani Ibrahim, Head of the Department of Mass Communication, paid a visit to Yusuf Maitama Sule University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa. During his tenure as Rector of Kano State Polytechnic, Professor Kurawa oversaw significant upgrades, including the transition of several departments, including Mass Communication, from offering Ordinary Diplomas to National Diplomas with nationwide recognition .
