The ceremony took place at the university's Kakuri Campus, drawing a gathering of eager students, dedicated staff members, and distinguished guests.
Representing the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Yusha'u Ibrahim Ango. In his address, Prof. Ango highlighted the significance of the occasion, commending the students for their dedication to pursuing higher education despite various challenges. The solemn oath-taking ceremony, overseen by the University Registrar, Barr. Heads of various departments, including Dr. Amir Ismail Daud (Arts), Dr. Bello Idris (Management Sciences), Dr. Sani Sani Ibrahim (Social Sciences), and Dr. Khalid Haruna (Science), were also present, highlighting the broad academic support available to the new students.
Security and administrative personnel, such as the Chief Security Officer, Col. (Rtd) Ahmed Yabagyi, and the Academic Secretary, Mrs. Amina Audu-Abutu, were in attendance, ensuring the smooth execution of the event and reinforcing the university's commitment to student welfare and institutional integrity.
