KASU Sparks Educational Reform Dialogue with Apostle Dr. Kure's Inspiring Lecture

Kaduna State University (KASU) held a transformative and insightful public lecture on Wednesday, 2nd  October  2024, focused on the urgent need for educational reform in Nigeria.

The lecture, titled "Reconfiguring the Nigerian University Landscape: A Critical Exploration of Pioneering Solutions for Sustainable Educational Reform," was delivered by the Vision Pioneer of the Throne room (Trust) Ministry Incorporation, Kafanchan, Apostle (Dr.)  Emmanuel Nuhu Kure at the Pharmacy Lecture Theatre.

The event was presided over by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Prof. Muhammad Bashir Ali, who represented the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa. He welcomed attendees, including staff and students, encouraging them to actively engage with the lecture and learn from Apostle Kure's insights.

In his lecture, Apostle Kure underscored the necessity for universities to adapt to changing societal needs. He stressed that both leadership and individuals must take responsibility in addressing community issues and stressed the critical role of students in driving positive change in Nigeria. His call for a shift in the Nigerian mindset culminated in a powerful assertion: "Nigeria can be restructured through education, and may Nigeria never fail."

Elder Sunday A. Oibe, the Chairman of the Occasion, commended the insightful contributions of Apostle Kure and expressed hope for a renewed Nigeria under the current university leadership. Haj. Khadijah Gambo from the Kaduna State Peace Commission also acknowledged the lecture's significance, noting Kure's valuable perspective as a member of the community.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Prof. Bala Dogo, Chairman of the Inaugural and Seminar Committee.
