Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University Receives NUC Accreditation Team for Computing Programmes

Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), hosted a team from the National Universities Commission (NUC) on November 14, 2025, for an accreditation exercise of three academic programmes in the Science and Computing Faculty. The programmes under review included BSc Computer Science, BSc Software Engineering, and BSc Cyber Security.

The NUC team, comprising two professors and a representative of the commission, conducted a thorough inspection of the university's facilities, staffing, documents, and processes relevant to the teaching and learning requirements of the programmes. They also interacted with staff and students to assess the level of academic delivery and student experience.

The accreditation team expressed satisfaction with the university's progress, commending efforts to strengthen academic standards and institutional growth.
