KSCOE (T) Mopa Makes History with First Female Deputy Provost

The Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Mopa, has appointed Mrs. Are Falilat Tinuola as its first female Deputy Provost.

The appointment was ratified at the 91st Academic Board meeting, marking a significant milestone in the college's history.

Mrs. Are is a Chief Lecturer in the School of Sciences and has held various leadership positions, including Dean of Student Affairs, Head of the Department of Integrated Science, and Dean of the School of Sciences. Her appointment is seen as a testament to the college's commitment to gender diversity.

The Provost, Dr. M.K. Ibrahim, congratulated Mrs. Are on her appointment, describing her as well-experienced, diligent, and an accomplished academic. He noted that her appointment aligns with the Advanced New Direction Policy of the state government.
