On October 2, 2024, Kogi State University played host to the Kogi State Executive Council meeting held at its Exco Hall. His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor and Chief Servant of Kogi State, presided over the meeting, showcasing his leadership as the Chief Executive in Council.
The session focused on vital discussions aimed at propelling the state's development initiatives, underlining the university's role in fostering governance and community engagement.
